	Vendor Registration
	To receive notification of future Requests for Proposals related to the OAKS project and other projects, vendors must register with the Ohio Department of Administrative Services. The registration process prompts vendors to select codes to indicate the types of services or supplies they are able to provide. These codes are National Institute of Governmental Purchasing (NIGP) codes. The state will use the following NIGP codes to create a mailing list of vendors that will be notified by the state when future RFPs for the OAKS project are released and posted on the Web:
		918-28, 918-29, 920-04, 920-07, and 920-14
	To ensure notification of the RFP release, please verify that you have registered in at least one of the appropriate NIGP codes listed above. Proper registration, although not a requirement for responding to state-released RFPs, will ensure that vendors are notified when the state releases an RFP. Notification is provided via e-mail. It is imperative that a correct e-mail address(s) is provided and maintained by the vendor. Registration is processed by DAS State Purchasing Vendor Registration. Vendors may also view and download OAKS RFPs without registering. Once released, OAKS RFPs will be available on-line from DAS State Procurement. From the main page, select "Selling to the State," and then select "Procurement Opportunities" to search all active opportunities. Under the option of "View All Active Opportunities," select the "Computers, Software, Supplies & Services" box, and then select "Search." All active opportunities for this class will be displayed.
